Fruit and Veg Delivery Services

The Christian Faversham Group will begin two separate fruit and vegetable delivery services in 2008 to serve both wholesale customers and families around the South-East of England.

Covent Garden Direct

Covent Garden Direct will be the first of our delivery services to begin operations. We will offer wholesale fruit and vegetable delivery to bring both fresh and prepared vegetables to the kitchens of nursing homes, schools, pubs, restaurants and hotels.

Covent Garden Direct will provide next day delivery for the whole of London, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Kent and Dorset. The service is a new venture for the Christian Faversham Group and will build upon the organisational experience we have gained as an established Corporate Events services company which has a fed over a quarter of a million guests since 2001.

Faversham Organic Box Scheme

In the autumn of 2008 we will launch the Christian Faversham Organic vegetable box scheme. Our new service will offer fresh local vegetables and organic vegetable produce with free home-delivery to our existing and new customers. Vegbox and meat boxes will be delivered using our existing fleet of 6 refrigerated vans which will serve the whole of London, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Kent, Wiltshire and Dorset.

We will provide locally grown produce and organic vegetables, hand picked for freshness. Our vegetable boxes will be offered in various sizes for single households through to large families. The contents of our boxes will vary each week to provide you with the best in variety and to feature the most seasonal items. In addition our meat boxes will feature the very best cuts of organic and free range beef, pork, lamb and chicken.

The taste of fresh fruit and vegetables from our vegetable boxes will be never compromised because we will not distribute fruit and veg that have been in long term chilled storage. Many people are not aware that some supermarket chains store their produce for up to 12 months or more in air tight warehousing (filled with an inert gas) before rotating with new crops. Long term stored products lose their taste and nutritional value.

The Christian Faversham Organics home delivery team are excited to be creating a service that will give families the best in healthy eating fruit and vegetable produce along with convenience and value.

Our chilled meat box choices will have the option of having a "guest product" included in your home delivered box which may be an item of dairy, smoked salmon from a world renowned Swedish smoke house, a spice sauce from a supplier to Harrods, organic fruit drink or a traditional Somerset cider.
