The Best of British Takeaways - Fish & Chips

We were delighted to quote to provide event kitchen equipment for episode one of The Best of British Takeaways made by Twenty Twenty for BBC Two.

Episode One was filmed on Brixham Harbour. Three fish and chip restaurants took part in a competition of cooking Fish and Chips on location with Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge and Cherry Healey both judging one of Britain's favourite takeaway meals. Tim pan frys his first piece of fish in a cast iron pan (not ours) but it sticks and he has to start again. This is the second time we have provided fish and chips at Brixham harbour. We hired a fish and chip van to a client a last year for a wedding event. Fish and chips has always been favourite on our menu, providing fish and chip catering equipment to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's fish fight and Heston Blumenthal's Fishy Feast
