Hog Boss Spit Roast for Sale

It is rare that a Hogg Boss spit roasting machine comes on the market. However, last season we were contacted by a spit roaster who was retiring and wanted to find a good home for his Hogg Boss machine. We already has several of these machines which are undoubtedly the best spit roasting machines in Europe. We deliberated for a few weeks and then decided that yes we would buy the Hogg Boss and refrigerated van and have it as a spare machine.

iSPY Awards @ Hilton Conference Centre Brighton

Completed the third iSPYawards ceremony at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. The Hilton catering team always set the bar high, this event was no exception. We had to work around a dodgem set up brought in and built inside the conference centre. With our own vehicles and set up also needing to get inside through a different entrance with limited headroom time was going to be tight. We sent our team in early to assist the Hilton team make the necessary modifications required and we were up and running 'cooking on gas' well within our critical window.

UK Power Networks call for Assistance

22.39hrs Saturday UK Power Networks called our emergency telephone number to enquire if we could supply 7 Arcotherm indirect marquee space heaters and a Denyo Ultra silent generator at the Henfield Greyhound Racing Kennels. After a short breifing we were on the case and ready to swing into action. I called our on call emergency guys and breifed them on the task ahead. Over the 6 day power outage the kennels lost all their food supplies and heating for the 200 Greyhounds at the Corrals yard.

After speaking to Wendy at the kennels we agreed that we could make a contingency plan which would be easier to implement as and when the next power outage occurred.

Tobacco Dock Job

We finally got confirmation the Tesco event at Tobacco Dock was going ahead. We quickly gave the 3 tonnes of equipment a final check prior to loading. Lawrence fired up the new LPG 20 chicken rotisserie which was going to be the main centrepiece of the event along with a selection of Turbo ovens and alto shaam holding cupboards. We headed off at 06.00hrs ready to beat the traffic and get in before all the other hire and event companies arrived. Sure enough by 11.00am the unloading bay was totally jammed up and someone parked inches from our tailgate, locked up their car and disappeared....stroke of luck we had finished unloading that van and onto the second van.
